“Days of Our Lives” fans will be seeing more characters dying and leaving the show.
This year, Kristen (Eileen Davidson) is presumed dead when she fell down the mountain in a scuffle with Marlena (Deidre Hall). There are also victims of the necktie killer that includes Serena (Melissa Archer), Paige (True O’Brien) and Will (Guy Wilson). Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) also died in an encounter with Bo (Peter Reckell) and Bo will also soon face his own demise due to brain tumor.
But aside from those mentioned, the head of the DiMeras, Stefa DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) is also rumored to be killed off since the health of the 86-year-old actor Mascolo is deteriorating, Globe's Nov.23 issue revealed, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
The departure of Mascolo from the show is expected especially when Andre (Thaao Penghlis) came to the show and already seemed to take over the leadership of the family. It was tough to let go of Stefano especially that Mascolo is a very good actor. But it appears that Andre could be a suitable successor to Stefano.
Other reports reveal that the makers of the soap opera changed their mind about Stefano's exit after filming his death and decided to let him come back as a ghost.
Meanwhile, Bo is currently dying and if he dies, Hope will find out that it is the DiMeras who are behind the kidnapping and she might plot a revenge knowing that Bo wasn't able to undergo tests due to his captivity which could have prolonged his life.
Aside from that, rumors reveal that an actor from "Days of Our Lives" is no longer happy with his or her role and will no longer sign a renewal contract. With that, Serial Scoop looked into the cast whose contract are about to end. Kate Mansi and Pegg McCay's contracts will end on December while the contract of James Reynolds and Suzanne Rogers will end on January, Soap Shows reported.
Peter Reckell’s contract will also expire on March along with Arianne Zucker (Nicole), Wally Kurth (Justin), and Judi Evans (Adrienne). Apparently, all actors who will renew their contracts are all popular and fans will not be happy to see them go.
