Xiaomi Mi5 Release Date Update: To be Launched on the 11th of November along with Xiaomi Mi Note 2?

Another rumored launch date for the Xiaomi Mi5 has been circulating online. However, this rumored date is considered as the most legitimate yet. Xiaomi has teased its fans on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform that the highly anticipated event may take place as early as Wednesday. The teaser showed a veiled device with a question mark and "Mi Dual 11" as caption. This has made a lot of fans believed that the launch of the new flagship smartphone will be on the 11th of November.

Others also believe that the teaser also suggests that there will be two smartphones that will be launched soon. At present, there are rumors about the launch of two new Xiaomi phones. These include the Xiaomi Mi5 and the Xiaomi Note 2 (pro). Xiaomi has released several, unique devices through the year and before each launch, there has been speculation about the smartphone maker as to whether it would launch another smartphone, no other than the Mi5. However, there are no official statement has been made yet.

Recently, Anzhuo, a Chinese publication, suggested that Xiaomi is preparing for an event, which will take place on the 3rd of December, where the Mi5 is also expected to be unveiled too. However, Xiaomi remained silent about the said event.

Specs-wise, the Mi5 is rumored to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor or the MediaTek Helio X20 processing chip. It may also include a whopping, 5.3-inch display, and 4GB of RAM. The device might also be equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization feature and ultrasonic high-speed fingerprint scanner.

Rumors about the launch of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 have been going on for several months as well. According to some reports, Xiaomi is about to release a standard model and a Pro model of their current flagship phablet.

The Mi Note 2 is rumored to have a 5.7-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 3,500 mAh battery, as well as the MIUI 7 Android-based skin.

Xiaomi has not made a statement yet regarding the two rumored devices.
