'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' News: Gets Update 1.06; 3rd FOB Unlocks, Security Devices, New PF Rating Screen, Grade 8 Gear

The "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" video game gets new updates from its developer. This open world action-adventure stealth video game has a makeover. The newly released patch does not only fix bugs but also has improvements on its menu, auto-matching features, mission rules adjustments, and many others.

PlayStation Lifestyle reports that the update 1.06 of "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" on PS4 is a 670 MB patch. As reported, this patch makes necessary changes on both "The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Online."

It is also reported that the PS4's patch notes of "The Phantom Pain" would also fix the "crashing issues in Episode 31 and Episode 40, as well as when using the cardboard box to fast travel." The save data issues when "PS4's power was cut under specific conditions and timing" had also been covered in this patch.

It is said that the newly released update of "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is expected to fix all current issues encountered by gamers. And the company will be monitoring if some problems are not addressed by this patch as it will go live.

So far, here's the list of the number changes covered for in the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" patch. First is the security device which will protect the "Forward Operating Base (FOB) from invasion and the unlocking of FOB 3."

Next, players could expect that there's a new look on its PF rating screen. The "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" patch also includes "Anti-Reflex Research" for its medical team, stealth mode effect in FOB infiltrations, and also the rookie and beginner functions has been expanded.

Gamespot on the other hand states that Konami mentioned that the patch notes of the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" are not yet final and are still subject to change.
