Republican Presidential Candidate Ben Carson Might Improve His Home Décor; Gives Us a Peek into His Psyche

Many have speculated how Donald Trump might decorate the White House if elected to presidency. And now people are closer to finding out how Republican candidate Ben Carson might improve the décor in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, after seeing his home in the photo gallery on NBC.

The pictures emerged after photographer Mark Makela visited the home of Ben Carson in Maryland in November of 2014. The highlights of the photograph include a photo of Carson with Cuba Gooding Jr., who played Carson in the 2009 made-for-TV movie "Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story," plus an autographed photo of Carson with George W. and Barbara Bush. And last but not the least - a painting of Carson with Jesus.

According to Realtor, Carson has several walls lined with framed certificates, news articles, and awards about him. A picture of him posing next to gilded pillars in his home shows that the soft-spoken doctor has a flashy style sensibility. He and Trump may claim that they are as different as night and day, but Carson's home suggests the two Republican candidates might have a lot more in common.

Dr. Ben Carson's life has been very unusual, so it is not a surprise to see the latest twist - where the media is going ballistic over discrepancies about a few things that he had said.

The National Review said that the thing that Dr. Carson has said is the biggest discrepancy between the furor in the media and the irrelevance of his statements to any political issue. For example, Dr. Carson has said to an audience that the pyramids were used as storage facilities. But, in any case, he didn't claim this as a fact.

What's important, the pyramids are not an issue in today's American political campaign. Yet the media have paid far more attention to his speculation than to the 'outright lies' that Hillary Clinton told about the tragic American deaths in Benghazi, within days after she knew the truth.
