‘Species’ Natasha Henstridge Lists California Home for $1.7 Million

Natasha Henstridge, best known for playing the sexy alien-human 'Sil' and 'Eve' in the sci-fi- horror trilogy 'Species' has reportedly put up her home in Sherman Oaks, California for sale with an asking price of $1.7 million, sources report.

In Species 2, Natasha spent most of her time in a lab or searching for a potential mate from one house to another. However, her real life home is far from the reel-life glass room she was contained in.

Listing records at Realtor.com reveal that the residence last traded hands in 2011 for $1.3 million. The Realtor blog explains that Henstridge had purchased the residence with her then musician husband, Darius Campbell. The home hit the listing market early this month.

The four-bed, four full and one half bath single family residence spans an area of 3476 square feet, sitting on an 8756 square feet lot. A wide stone driveway leads up to the front of the house. Large wood-framed glass doors open into swanky interiors featuring hardwood flooring and mixed ceilings (beamed and drywall).

Living spaces include a spacious living room, a separate dining room and a gourmet kitchen. Outside, the residence has a sports court, a lush backyard that provides for ample recreation areas. There is a pool with a fountain and lounging areas as well, the listing states.

Excerpts from the listing description read:

Gated south of the boulevard celebrity owned architectural/modern masterpiece on one of Sherman Oaks most desired streets & neighborhood_names & is close to shopping, dining & entertainment.

Large, grassy, gated & landscaped front & back yards & a pool w fountains, covered patio, sports court & lounging areas help complete this homes refined elegance.

The sports court in Henstridge's home wasn't just built for show. It seems that the 'Maximum Risk' actress is a huge sports fan, especially the NHL. She even has her own NHL jersey.
