‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Cast & Spoilers: Is Glenn Dead or Still Alive? TWD Showrunner Talks Glenn's Fate in AMC Series

Avid followers of "The Walking Dead" season 6 are still speculating whether Glenn is dead or alive after apparently being eaten by a horde of zombies in Episode 3, titled "Thank You." AMC has not confirmed the death of the fan favorite character yet and theories remain that Glenn survived the encounter.

Glenn (Steven Yeun) was last shown being torn apart by the horde of walkers when he had fallen into the ground after his "good-for-nothing" partner Nicholas shot himself.

However, many fans question if the scene really transpired. Now with the recent episode of TWD, more speculations and questions from TWD viewers have continued to build up. Is Glenn actually dead, still roaming around as a walker or possibly returning in the later episodes of Season 6?

Another theory from Forbes suggested that AMC will turn Glenn into the new Sophia. Sophia was Carol's daughter who ran away from the group during a zombie attack. It is speculated that AMC would probably make the whole "The Walking Dead" season 6 about finding Glenn, similar to how it revolved around in season 2 when Rick's group looked for Sophia. There is also the possibilty of Maggie finding Glenn by the end of the episode.

Also, when Maggie (Lauren Cohan) confirmed her pregnancy in TWD Season 6 Episode 5 titled "Now," the probability of Glenn's survival from the attack becomes more questionable.

Earlier in the season, Maggie dropped a clue about her situation when Glenn told Rick (Andrew Lincoln) that Maggie would stay behind to help Deanna recover from Reg's death. Maggie also told Rick, "That's not the only reason." This scene among "the million different clues" could make the audience believe somehow that Glenn is still alive, according to Forbes.

Meanwhile, Greg Nicotero has talked about the fate of Yeun's character in his recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "I've read about the theories and they're hilarious," he said. "I think it's fun to allow people to speculate on it. There will be some resolution to the debate. I can't wait for that moment because it'll be very intriguing," Nicotero siad.

The TWD executive producer added that he's enjoying the speculations online about the different ways in which Glenn could still be alive. Some of the more hilarious speculations that have surfaced online regarding Glenn's death include those that say there could be a manhole near the dumpster or that Jesus saved him.

In any case, "The Walking Dead" Season 6 is getting more and more exciting, with the hopes of revealing Glenn at the later episode to come back for Maggie and not having to follow the same plotline as Sophia's.
