Carson Daly of ‘The Voice’ Buying Long Island Home?

Carson Daly, host of the hit music reality show 'The Voice' has not only landed himself a new gig on Today's 'Orange Room' but is also getting himself a new place. According to some real estate sources, the charming host is in contract to buy a home in Manhasset, Long Island, for an unknown price.

Newsday is reporting that Daly has closed in on a deal to purchase the 6035 square feet, single family residence recently. The six bed double story residence features mixed flooring, vaulted ceilings and French doors and windows. The house has seven fireplaces, a snooker room and enough open spaces for Daly's two children to play in. Outside, there is a vast stretch of green and a huge pool as well.

The home was originally listed for $6.8 million in June 2012. After a Pricechop to $6.4 million, it was taken off the market in late October 2013. The home must have sold in a private sale, reports Zillow.

Daly is not the only 'Voice' member indulging in some real estate activity. Earlier this year, Christina Aguilera sold her Beverly Hills home for $11.5 million after buying in Mulholland Estates for $10 million.

Coach Adam Levine also recently sold his Hollywood Hills home for $3.5 million. Talking about Levine, who is now engaged to model girlfriend Behati Prinsloo, co-judge Blake Shelton and Daly recently revealed in an interview with E! Online that Levine's life has been one big 'bachelor party' for the Maroon 5 frontman.

"If there was a bachelor party for Adam, it would be the most-I mean, no one would know about it. There'll be two people, me and Adam, we'll be the only two people there. No, Adam's lived the life of a bachelor party. It'll never happen. His whole life has been a bachelor party, and now he's gonna settle down. He's good," Daly told E!Online.

Meanwhile Shelton said:

"Even if I got the invitation, my wife [Miranda Lambert] wouldn't let me go to an Adam Levine bachelor party no matter what," Shelton told us. "And having said that, Carson's right. What can Adam do at a bachelor party that he hasn't already done for the first 30 years of his existence? What's he gonna have there? Strippers? Models? He's had that for years now. He's a rock star."
