‘The Flash Season 2’ Spoilers: Episode 5 Introduces Hero Hawkgirl from ‘Legends of Tomorrow’

Episode 5 will be Cisco's (Carlos Valdes) time to date. The scientist got himself a hot date after two tries to score the number of a cute barista. There is something surprising about this girl, though. Her name is Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renée). But, she is more known as Hawk Girl and is one of the upcoming heroes in the CW series, "Legends of Tomorrow."

What is she doing in 'The Flash?' The answer might be in episode 5.

With Patty (Shantel VanSanten) and Barry (Grant Gustin) playing a game of "will they or won't they," Cisco decided to show his friend how it is done and try his good fortune with the new barista at the local coffee shop they are lounging.

"Do you want coffee?" she asked Cisco.

"No, I don't want coffee. You know what I do want though? I want to ask you this," Cisco replied with a lot of confidence. "You want to go out with me?"

As expected, the bold move was rejected.

However, things will change further in the episode when Cisco returned to the coffee shop. She introduced herself as Kendra Saunders and that she is new to Central City and how she was shook off by Cisco's confident gesture.

Of course, he asked her again to go out with him. And she said, 'YES!'

This might be a romantic part for Cisco, but the story just got even more interesting as Kendra is known for being the meta-human superhero, Hawkgirl. She is Shayera Hol in her home planet of Thanagar. She is a legendary warrior who uses a rod and mysterious gravity-defying metal that is only found in her home planet in order to fly. According to DC Comics, she came to earth after she chased a criminal and decided to stay in order to help maintain peace and order.

Moreover, Hawkgirl will also be the star of the new Legends of Tomorrow in 2016.

"The Flash" will air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
