‘Sister Wives Season 6’ Updates and Spoilers: Episode 9 Reveals the Gender of Robyn Brown’s Baby

Kody and Robyn Brown have been having their most exciting year, yet. In addition to Kody being given the legal guardianship over the three eldest children of Robyn, the Sister Wives couple also announced that they were expecting a second baby in June.

"We are so happy to announce an eagerly expected new member of the Brown family!" the couple told People magazine in June. They also revealed that Kody's 18th child would be due on January 7, 2016.

After the announcement of the pregnancy, fans have been guessing whether the baby would be a little boy or girl.

According to IBTimes, the Browns, however, considered the possibility for Kody's fourth sister to have both! It can be remembered that on episode 6 of Sister Wives that the Browns contemplated for Robyn to having twins after she said that her pregnancy 'felt different'. Moreover, the expectant mother explained in the Season 6 episode that she is having thoughts that she might be having twins, as well. It was, accordingly, after "she began showing more quickly and became nauseous sooner than she did with her other four pregnancies".

All of the presumptions were bunked, though, after the couple's visit to their midwife, who revealed that there is only one baby. In episode 9, a gender reveal will be expected.

"Kody and Robyn will reveal their baby's gender," episode 9 synopsis said.

In addition, the family will be having a vacation to Alaska, too. Kody, alongside his four wives (Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn) and kids will have to bid farewell to Las Vegas' heat as they leave for Alaska. One shocking revelation from Meri, which caused her to break down and cry, is a must-watch, too.

"They have no idea how bad it is," Meri says in the trailer.

Sister Wives Season 6 Episode 9 will air on Sunday, November 8, at 9PM EST on TLC.
