'The Divergent Series: Allegiant' Movie Spoilers: Tris Will Die After Being Shot Multiple Times By David?

It's already known that "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" will feature the death of Tris (Shailene Woodley). Now some fans who haven't read Veronica Roth's book are speculating on how this will be done in the film.

Meanwhile, some fans also believe that it's possible for Theo James' Four to also be killed off. After all, Roth previously told MTV News that fans can expect major changes from the book to the big screen.

According to the film's spoiler site, Tris will die after being shot multiple times by David, the leader of the Bureau. Four of her companions will survive and they will be the ones responsible for spreading their ashes.

Even though fans already know what will eventually happen to Tris towards the end of the trilogy, they are still urging Roth to rethink Tris' death. One fan even said that she's hoping Roth will reveal that the original ending is fake and come up with an alternate ending where Tris lives.

"Tris dies... I'm just hoping that at one point VR is going to say that everything was fake and publish the real book where there's a happy ever after," the fan wrote.

Another fan said that Four could be the one killed off because the novel was told from the points of view of two characters.

"I haven't read the book, but I just realized something. In Allegiant, we get 2 p.o.v.'s. Maybe it's because in the end, one will die, and you need at least one p.o.v to keep the story running, like keep telling itself. So, yup. I think one, either Tris or Tobias, will die."

In other news, "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" will also feature Tris, Four and their friends finally finding out what lies beyond the Chicago walls.

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 18, 2016.
