'Scandal' Season 5 Episode 7 Preview: Fitz Will Try Back To Win Back The American People; Elizabeth Plans A Huge Comeback

After the thrilling revelations in the previous episode of "Scandal" Season 5, President Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) will try to win back the hearts of the American people, while someone will be planning a huge comeback in the White House.

In "Scandal" Season 5 episode 6, Olivia (Kerry Washington) was forced to be engaged with the President so she won't speak to the impeachment jury. However, Olivia freaked out with the thought of settling down with Fritz, so she immediately shut down the plan.

Olivia then decided to ask for her father's help, and Rowan (Joe Morton) offered to get the judiciary committee to drop the case if she can free him from jail. She asked Mellie (Bellamy Young) for help and the judiciary committee dropped the case; now Papa Pope is a free man. Will Fritz find out that Olivia and Mellie worked together to free Rowan?

According to Christian Today, after the series of scandalous events, Fritz will be busy trying to win back the hearts of the American people ahead of his plan to run for re-election. However, based on the synopsis of "Scandal" Season 5 episode 7, Fritz will become distracted when he makes a shocking discovery. Does this involve the partnership of Olivia and Mellie for Rowan's freedom?

Meanwhile, Olivia will be back at work with a new client. According to International Business Times, Olivia will try to get back to work though she's preoccupied with her own secrets. A bigger problem will also be coming her way as Elizabeth North (Portia de Rossi) plans a huge comeback after being fired from the White House. According to the report, Elizabeth is planning something big and there is no telling as to who or what her mysterious agenda plans to destroy.

"Scandal" Season 5 episode 7 will air on ABC on Nov. 5.
