Gravity Rush 2 and Gravity Rush Remastered Coming to PlayStation 4 in Northern America in 2016

It has been observed that prices and game releases in North American more often that not follows the pattern of prices and games releases in the SEA region. That is why, even if it is good news it is not a big surprise that Gravity Rush 2 is going to the West. According to Polygon, Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that Gravity Rush 2 will be making its way to PlayStation 4 in North America.

Gravity Rush 2 is the action adventure game sequel for Gravity Rush, which was developed for PlayStation Vita. In addition, Gravity Rush Remastered will also be coming to Sony's latest console in February next year.

As written on the PlayStation blog site, "Hi, PlayStation fans. In addition to Gravity Rush Remastered coming to PS4 in February next year, I'm excited to announce Gravity Rush 2 is also coming to North America, exclusively on PS4.

"In the sequel to the acclaimed PS Vita original, you'll have brand new gravity-shifting options and combat mechanics at your disposal. Kat can now use three gravity styles that add more variety and combat options: Normal, Lunar, and Jupiter."

The blog also goes on to say that Gravity Rush 2, being a sequel, is going to be a tag battle system between the player and an AI controlled ally, for example Raven assisting Kat.

According to PlayStation blog site, creative director Toyama-san himself has said, "As you saw from the footage during the Paris Games Week press conference, you'll be able to mix and match a wide variety of combat styles any way you want, so there'll be enough action to please Gravity veterans and new players alike. And of course, there's a whole lot more we haven't shown you yet, so stay tuned!

A demo of Gravity Rush 2's combat gameplay was showcased during Sony's Paris Games Week press conference. The gameplay demonstrates the game's three different combat styles stated in the blog: normal style, Lunar and Jupiter style.
