NBA News and Rumors: Chicago Bull's Derrick Rose Could Be out Due to Eye Injury; Clippers DeAndre Jordan to Chris Paul- 'Bad Teammate'

After a series of rumors about his so-called transfer to LA Lakers and alleged feud with fellow teammate Jimmy Butler, Derrick Rose has proven that those things do not matter when he is on the hard court. Scoring 18 points and winning against their first regular season opponent, Cleveland Cavaliers, Derrick Rose once again made his MVP presence felt despite series of injuries and speculation of his playing condition.

The dedication and passion of Derrick Rose for the game was indeed felt during their match against LeBron James' Cavaliers. According to reports, Rose was playing one eye-blind because of an eye complication. The great Chicago Bulls' superstar was actually dribbling and shooting the ball with a limited vision. Despite the identified eye problem of Rose and his output, Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg seemed pleased with his performance. Fred Hoiberg via espn expressed his sentiment saying that;

"I think he sees three baskets right now. I told him, 'Aim for the middle one.' That's part of it right now -- the depth perception. It's probably still a little bit off. He's still out there working on [3s], shooting them, but we want him to be aggressive getting to the basket and making plays for his teammates."

The blurry vision of Rose was actually caused by a slightly swollen left eye lid. But still there is no need to be concern for Rose's status, for the point-guard himself assured that he will not be out of the season simply because of a blurred vision. Rose assured fans of his condition, stating via espn that;

 "I think I'm all right. A couple of layups I could have hit, but I think that I'm careful when I'm out there. I'm just trying to get back [to] playing. I miss this game too much. When I'm out there playing, I'm only using one of my eyes. I close my left eye whenever I'm out there. So I just got used to it from practice."

From one point-guard to another, LA Clippers' Chris Paul has been likewise engaged with off-court issues. It was reported that this "once-in-a-generation point guard," has been having some troubles with his fellow teammates.

According to some reports, DeAndre Jordan has branded Chris Paul as a "Bad Teammate." However, DeAndre Jordan was quick to put the issue off, as he stated via ocregister that, "If I didn't like Chris, I wouldn't have signed here." In response to the alleged "Bad Teammate" branding, Chris Paul reacted by stating that;

"There are a lot of things you can say about me or what-not, but that's not one," Paul said. "I'm competitive and I want to win - you can say a whole lot of stuff about me - I'm not a saint by any means. But that's the one thing you cannot say."
