'NBA 2K16' Patch 1.02 for Xbox Now Available

Xbox users have been waiting for this. Finally, the "NBA 2K16's" patch 1.02 for Xbox is out.

PC and PS4 versions have already received the "NBA 2K16" patch 1.02. The said patch reportedly updated the game in addition to fixing the problems that PS4 users have reported after the game was launched.

A tweet from 2K Sports confirmed the release of the patch for the console. The Twitter post reads, "#NBA2K16 Patch Update v2 now available both on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One." Then it was followed by a link to a Facebook page that contains notes of the patch. Prior to this, 2K Sports has said via Twitter that the patch would arrive in 72 hours. Fortunately, it did not take that long.

Like the patch for the PS4 console, the one for Xbox features the same fixes. Currently, as announced on the Facebook page, the company is working on patch update v3 that will be larger in scope. The current patch is said to address the ProAM issues including the matchmaking issues that inhibited users from playing in Pro-Am Walk-On games.

Furthermore, for the Pro-Am or MyPARK features of the game, Pro-Am Team Play has been added, allowing players to play as a full team in custom-built arenas. The issue where the gamer's character would appear with an incorrect height was also addressed and so as the rare case where the ball would get stuck in the High Roller courts.

Voice chat support has been improved in both MyPARK and 2K Pro-Am. It was explained that a skateboard will help the player move faster between courts so the patch included an animation of the skateboard in MyPARK. In addition, it was also said that 2K Beats will now continue to play after finishing a game in MyPARK.
