Miley Cyrus Joins LA ALS Walk, Supports Pilates Trainer Mari Winsor; Reese Witherspoon, Rene Zellwegger, Other Stars Join Too

Miley Cyrus, who is known for her wild antics, proved she could entertain the crowd when she attended the 13th Annual Los Angeles County Walk to Defeat ALS in LA, California on Oct. 18, Sunday.

The 22-year-old "Wrecking Ball" singer made her surprise appearance at the LA event in support of her Pilates trainer, Mari Winsor, who is currently fighting against the disease. Cyrus sported a hand-printed white shirt with different colored hearts and glittery text that read, "I heart Mari."

The former "Hannah Montana" star led the event's 2,000 participants with an eclectic warm-up exhibition, E! News reported. Cyrus wore a hanging white shirt that showed a little bit of her torso as she graced the stage with an exercise routine. She paired it off with galaxy printed leggings and Nike sneakers in pink and blue.

The pop star, known for wearing outrageous accessories, toned it down a little by wearing a dangling pair of floral earrings, along with a pink bow that she attached to a high ponytail. She also wore bright pink lipstick to match the eye-catching ribbon.

The 2015 MTV host was first spotted alongside Mari Winsor, whom she supported as part of "Team Winsor Pilates."

Winsor wore the event t-shirt on top of a long-sleeved black shirt with rolled-up sleeves, matching it with loose black sweatpants and a pair of gray Nike sneakers. Together with Cyrus, Mari excitedly led the warm up exhibition during the event, according to Daily Mail.

Winsor, who also trained Hollywood stars like Emma Stone and Dakota Johnson, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

ALS is a neuromuscular disorder that progressively paralyzes its victim, disabling him or her to walk, speak, swallow and breathe.

Other Hollywood stars who were present at the LA ALS Walk were Reese Witherspoon, Courteney Cox and Renee Zellwegger. The "Legally Blonde" star supported long-time Hollywood publicist Nanci Ryder as part of "Team Nanci," which was announced as the top fundraising group during the event.

In an interview, Witherspoon said, "I'm just happy to be here supporting Nanci but also just raising awareness and raising money for ALS."
