Does Meryl Streep Own a Sunset Strip Residence?

Rumors have it that Meryl Streep of the "Iron Lady" fame might have purchased a home in the Sunset Strip neighborhood of Los Angeles.

According to the Real Estalker, the home was purchased sometime back in February under the name of a trust through which Streep and her husband Don Gummer have purchased many other properties. It is also unclear whether the buyer was Streep or her son, Henry Wolfe.

However, the buyer apparently paid $4.5 million for the home. The listing records of the residence state that the multiple-level home is a 3700 square feet residence comprising of four bedrooms, three full and one half bathroom.

Living spaces include a drawing room, multiple family rooms and a casual dining area. The home has a modern kitchen, an office/ study and huge bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Outside, the residence has a large yard, a swimming pool and a sunken spa. The place also has ample parking area.

Streep's ranch-style home featured in "It's Complicated" is perhaps one of the most searched movie-homes. In 2012, that home had hit the listing market for something around $12 million. A fan got so fascinated by the home that she decided to check the property out for herself and wrote about it in her blog.

Usually, Streep keeps her personal life quite private. However, her real estate history has been chronicled by many fans. Check out a video below on the history of her home sales and purchases (until 2010):
