5 Ways to Style Your Home Like a Pro

Interior Designers can undoubtedly make wonders in designing your space. They can help you hide the flaws in your house and even accentuate its strengths. However, not all can manage an interior designer especially if you just need some little help in designing a small space in your house.

Elle Decor with the help of professional homestager Meridith Baer will help you with some tips that would make you decorate your house pro-style.

1. Pick your choice of paint color

If you're oblivious on what color to choose, the safest color would always be "White." It does not only make the illusion that the house is crisp clean but it also makes it larger.

And if you want to go for bolder colors, you can try using "red of brown" or even "black."

2. Hotel-styled bathrooms

This is a fun thing to do! Styling your bathroom like the ones you see in hotels. The tip given by Elle Decor are: a counter that is "free from products" except for one that seems lavish and have a posh styled packaging. Another tip is to "roll up the towels" and try to also place a mini plant.

3. Add an upholstered stool or bench in your bedroom

If the space in your bedroom is scarce, try having just one stylish chair instead of a big bulky one for this. But if you have that spare space, try putting a well-upholstered accent chair or bench on that space to create an impression that the room looks larger. The accent chair also looks good with the side table beside it.

4. Don the Coffee Table Pro-style

Styling your coffee table is simple, first as advised, display a huge bowl: in the center display a "large piece" of floral then surround it with little pieces of interesting objects. Then at the side of the table, try to put in "stacks of book," or any piece of art.

5. Lighting Makes A Big Difference

Try to purchase lamps for the floor and table, lighting creates some warmth vibe in any room. Chandeliers and even Ceiling Lamps also add up to the exquisite look of a room but these are intended for high-ceiling rooms.
