Grammy award winner St. Vincent a.k.a. Annie Clark has been spotted serving tacos at a Mexican restaurant in Dallas, Texas.
It is not often that a well-known celebrity, let alone a Grammy award winner, can be found waiting on tables in a taco joint. According to Mashable, musician St. Vincent turned up in a Mexican food joint ready to serve customers coming in. The restaurant is called "Resident Taqueria" and is located in Dallas, Texas. People who recognized the singer were pleasantly shocked but it was later revealed that Clark was just helping out her sister and brother-in-law with their new business. She spent the weekend helping out her family and social media was flooded by images and messages about the surprise "gig" of the Grammy winner.
In a report by Music Times, a photo of St. Vincent wearing an apron and looking every bit the part of waitress was posted on Instagram. This confirmed the reports of a celebrity sighting which as it turned out Clark was only helping a family member with their new entrepreneurial venture. It has been reported that the musician is dating actress and model Cara Delevigne who is also a close friend of Clark.
Hungry fans immediately sent out tweets about the singer who was actually serving tacos and putting napkins on holders for customers. She was really game and into it which delighted the restaurant's patrons. And just like most social media posts, somebody asked if the picture was real so St. Vincent herself posted on her Instagram signs and advertising of Resident Taqueria. It is very clear that despite having an A-list celebrity status and having won a prestigious music award, St. Vincent loves her family and is willing to help them whichever way she can. And she also made eating tacos really cool.
