The Bachelor Season 19 winner Whitney Bischoff is back in the dating scene again after her split up with fiancé Chris Soules. The two broke up earlier this year and Whitney went back to Chicago and resumed her normal life.
Last Thursday, US Weekly caught up with Whitney along with other franchise stars including Nick Viall, Josh Murray, and others at the Bachelor and Bachelorette at the Football event at Tacos & Tequila at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California.
At the event Whitney shared to US Weekly how she was doing after her post-reality TV romance and she said, "Yeah, I'm just casually dating." She then added, "I don't know that I have a specific person that I'm looking for. I think that in general it's someone who makes me a better person, makes me happy, makes me laugh, and shares a common interest, so I don't know if there's a big stereotype with that."
The two broke up last May, two months after the Bachelor Finale, and gave a joint statement to US Weekly that says, "Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement." It further explained, "They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends. They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey."
Chris was also able to speak to US Weekly and he talked about dating and his present relationship with his ex-girlfriend Whitney. He said that they are "friends and they catch up regularly."
And Whitney confirmed it and said, "I think that it's important that we maintain our friendship and I love that we were able to end things cordially." Whitney added, "We went through something very unique and I think that we'll have a friendship for the rest of our lives."
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Whitney decided to give an interview with US Weekly days after Chris was said to be dating Rumer Willis when they were spotted together at the Knicks game in New York.
