'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Episode 2 Spoilers: Enzo Tortures Caroline; Lily Seeks Revenge; 3-Year Jump & 3 New Villains To Be Introduced

In the second episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7, Lily (Annie Wersching) and her family of Heretics will seek revenge while Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will choose the bad side. [Spoilers Alert!]

In the premiere episode, Enzo ultimately chose to be on Lily's side. According to International Business Times, Enzo captures Caroline Forbes (Candice King) and then tortures her as revenge. Lily was reportedly mad at her sons when Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) broke the truce that they made in Mystic Falls. In the last episode, Damon and Bonnie (Kat Graham) killed Malcolm (Justice Leak), who is a member of Lily's Heretics family.

According to the report, Lily wants to get revenge by using Caroline as bait. It was also reported that now that Caroline is in danger, Damon needs to fix the damage he has done in order to save her and before their relationship with Lily becomes worse. Christian Today reports that as Caroline is held captive by the Heretics, she will discover something about Stefan's past, which could also affect their current relationship.

Meanwhile, it was reported that other storylines will be explored in the upcoming episode. International Business Times reported that this will involve the mysterious artifact which Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) acquired.

Viewers will also get a glimpse of the risky decision of Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig). In the next episode, there will also be a three-year jump where new female characters will be introduced. According to the site, these new characters will be another threat to the Salvatore brothers.

"The Vampire Diaries" executive producer Julie Plec teased in a recent interview that Season 7 will have a flash-forward storyline. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 episode 2 is titled "Never Let Me Go" and will air on Thursday on The CW.
