"Teen Wolf" Season 5 has just ended but it was announced by MTV that they will be airing Season 5B on January 5 on a new time slot which is at 9 p.m., EW reported.
But apart from the change of time, it is also said that Tyler Posey, who just said that "Teen Wolf" airing will be dubbed "Tyler Tuesdays," is rumored to be replaced in the coming episodes.
Posey plays the role of Scott McCall who is apparently a fan-favorite. Creator Jeff Davis revealed that he thought season 5 was their final season and that he was indeed considering another actor to take over the role of McCall.
But fans were not happy about not seeing Posey on the show. Some even said that they will no longer watch it if another actor will take over the role. Posey clarified the issue through a tweet saying that he will "never leave" the show because "Teen Wolf" is his baby.
Davis also admitted that the renewal of the show was a surprise for him and also added that they were planning for a huge change in the show and let Dylan Sprayberry "take over the role of the Teen Wolf and see Tyler Posey move into more of a Derek Hale role," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Questions from the midseason finale will not be answered in the premiere of Season 5B but there will be more surprises for the fans on upcoming episodes.
Davis was also asked if the next season will be about the cast's lives after graduating high school, he teased that they will not yet be graduating after season 5.
Chris Argent will also be back on the show after being missing on Season 5A, which we can see at the end of the trailer. It is also reported that another Argent is returning which could be Allison Argent or a new Argent might be introduced, Bustle reported.
