'Big Hero 7' Movie Release Date & Plot Rumors: Animated Film To Join Cinematic Universe? Fredzilla & Honey Lemon To Have Their Own Spinoff

Details about "Big Hero 7" remain scarce, but as early as now there are some rumors that director Stan Lee wants the Disney film's characters to have their own standalone movies.

According to Crossmap, director Stan Lee himself has been dropping hints about "Big Hero 7." There was reportedly one time during his interview that Lee said he wants audiences to get to know the other characters of the film by giving them a standalone movie.

According to Bleeding Cool, an insider that's closely working with Disney executives told them that Disney intends to follow the footsteps of Marvel when it comes to creating a Cinematic Universe. "Big Hero 6" was originally a comic book in Japan, so fans across the world will get to know even more stories if more movies under the franchise will be made.

Meanwhile, the publication also revealed that the first two characters that will most likely have their own spinoff are Fredzilla and Honey Lemon. In "Big Hero 6," Fredzilla was voiced by actor T.J. Miller, and Honey Lemon was voiced by actress Genesis Rodriguez.

In other news, Fredzilla's standalone movie will reportedly be set a few months after the events that took place in "Big Hero 6." In the film, the character's partner named Agent Souza will also be introduced. The film's main villains will be named Whiplash and Lancer.

Meanwhile, Honey Lemon's standalone film will introduce a villain named Madame LaRoche. The main storyline for the movie will be focused on the battle between good and bad science. There are also some rumors that Fredzilla and Honey Lemon will be romantically involved with each other in their standalone films.

As of late, it is still unclear when "Big Hero 7" will be released, and whether or not it will really push through.
