1. Capital Gate 

If being viewed by a far, Capital Gate seems to be swirling and forms a shape similar to a tornado. The "leaning" structure is said to be a skyscraper and it stands  540 ft. tall and has 35 stories.

It was regarded in 2010 as the "World's Furthest Leaning Man-Made Tower" by Guinness World Records.

2. Sunrise Kempinski Hotel 

This hotel is remarkable of its shiny exterior and snail-like shape. The hotel stands at 60 km. in height and said to be inspired by the "rising sun." Other features of the facade of this hotel is also inspired by Feng Shui. The main entrance takes the shape of a mouth of a fish is regarded to symbol "prosperity."

The appearance of the lake may seem striking blue, this is due to the glass exterior cover and that it overlooks the ocean.

3. The Marina Bay Sands Hotel 

Who could not know this famous structure in Singapore that has three towers and a boat-like top? The hotel has 57 floors and is said to have cost $8 billion. It also has a shopping mall and skating rink inside.

4. Cumulus - Nordborg, Denmark

This is a piece of Architecture that will make you think. At first, this may seem like a jigsaw puzzle or a piece of torn paper but actually the "trivial" pursuit of onlookers of this structure is the aim of the designers.

The building is home to a "technology museum" and "exhibition hall." It was also regarded as one of the "new seven wonders of architecture world" by Conde Nast Traveler.

5. City of Arts and Sciences 

The structure located in Turia is a sight for tourists exploring the city. The actual site of the structure was an emptied riverbed before. It was designed by the prestigious Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava and dons a magnificent modern structure.  

6. Akshardham Temple

This structure in India is a "house of worship." It both defies the old and the new style in its architecture. The structure has a total of 8,000 sq. meters. It was said that 3,000 volunteers helped make this structure be built.

7. Chapel of the Holy Cross - Arizona, USA

The structure located in the famous land attraction in Arizona, the Red Rock towers is 250 ft. high. The construction of the chapel is said to be "miraculous" and the design was inspired by a "cross."

8. Infinity Tower - Dubai, UAE

The Infinity Tower is one that could make anybody speechless. The structure seems "twisted" and in toothlike cells. It stands 305 meters above the ground and is 80 stories high.

9. Sydney Opera House - Sydney, Australia

A very popular attraction in Australia and designed by the most-awaited Danish Architect Jørn Utzon was regarded as "the youngest World UNESCO Heritage site." Visitors of the Opera House will not only be invited by its grand design but also of the lavish water that surrounds the structure.

10. Nagoya Science Museum and Planetarium - Aichi, Japan
