The Mark Hotel Rooftop: What’s Inside the New Most Expensive Hotel Suite in America

The Mark Hotel in New York has toppled Four Seasons Hotel New York's Ty Warner penthouse for being the most expensive hotel suite in America. The Mark Hotel's suite is priced at $75,000 per night, while the Ty Warner penthouse in Four Seasons costs $50,000 per night.

Business Insider was able to take a tour inside The Mark Hotel's expensive suite. According to the report, the suite measures 12,000 square feet, which is said to be the largest in America.  

The suite features high vaulted ceilings, with windows underneath, which reportedly allow just the right amount of natural light in the suite's living room. The suite is home to five bedrooms, six bathrooms, two wet bars and two powder rooms. There are also four fireplaces, a conservatory, a library lounge, and a dining room that can seat 24 people.

The furnishings in the suite are reportedly custom-designed. According to the hotel's official website, each of the rooms in the suite feature state-of-the-art HD televisions and an audio system. The suite also boasts a marble bath with a tub, glass shower area, a mirrored flat screen TV, telephone, and other high-end amenities.

The suite is fitted with a rooftop terrace where breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, Central Park and more can be enjoyed. The terrace also has a huge seating area where guests can hang out and enjoy the open air.

Guests who stay in The Mark Hotel's expensive suite can enjoy an exclusive menu especially prepared by Chef Jean-Georges of the hotel's signature restaurant. Other perks for the guests include "Ladurée macarons left at your bedside."

Other in-room amenities in the hotel suite are complimentary high-speed WiFi, private bar, daily shoe shine and more.
