Christina Aguilera Belittles Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez? ‘The Voice’ Coach Refuses to Perform An ‘Oldies Act’

Uh oh! It looks like the battle of the 90s is back again, as Christina Aguilera's manager has seemingly thrown some serious shade at "The Voice" mentor's competitors, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey. Does the 34-year-old singer think she's a cut above the rest?

Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears have been battling since the birth of their careers in the 90s. Both performers were often compared against each other, as they both ruled the music scene during that time. While time has passed and most fans are already expecting to see maturity come out of these two, it looks like the battle over who's more famous is still brewing between them.

In a recent report from Celeb Dirty Laundry, Aguilera's manager, Irzing Azoff has seemingly dissed Spears, JLo and even Mariah Carey in a statement. According to the outlet, Azoff refused an offer from Planet Hollywood for Aguilera to perform on stage with Spears, Lopez and Carey.

Azoff's reason for refusing the offer was because Aguilera was still in the "prime of her career" and has not yet reached the end of the line. This seemingly throws shade over Spears, who has allegedly reached the peak of her career after purchasing a Vegas residency.

"[Christina's] about to go back on The Voice, about to finish her record, about to do another guest shot on Nashville and the record's amazing," Azoff said.

While many fans were expecting to hear the "Beautiful" singer apologize for her manager's statements, the outlet cited that Aguilera agreed with every bit of Azoff's statements.

"She said, 'I won a Grammy this year! Why would I go to Vegas and join Britney and Mariah in an oldies act?'" an insider shared.

Meanwhile, Spears proved to be the more mature out of the two and instead stayed mum about the Azoff's diss. According to Kdramastars, Spears recently posted a photo of her and Kate Hudson to show that she is not the least bit affected by Aguilera's manager's statements.
