50 Cent Slams 'Empire'; Much Gay Stuff Pulling Rating Down

50 Cent isn't scared of backlash, he blatantly blames the drop in "Empire" ratings on "too much gay stuff."

When the series took an 18 percent dip in viewership in its second episode of the season, 50 Cent reportedly took to social media to criticize the show. According to BET, 50 Cent reposted a post from another user which pointed out that the show is down by three million viewers because of too much celebrity cameos and too many "gay" plots. The post is now deleted but it read, "There are 3 million less viewers who tuned into last night's Empire episode!!!! did you watch it? We could not take the extra gay stuff or celebrity stuff last night!!!!"

According to TMZ, the said post immediately spread and the artist is now being labelled as "homophobic." According to 50 Cents' representative, the comments were "not a reflection of his views at all." And the rep reportedly deleted the post the moment it went live.

It is said this is not the only time that the rapper has ridiculed the show. According to TMZ, the rapper has been grumbling with the show for some time now because he feels that it is not as good as his show "Power." In fact, "Empire" reportedly has dedicated the premiere episode of season 2 to slam the rapper.

According to BET, 50 Cent has also previously fired shots at "Empire," dissing it as some "sh*t" you get for free while he says "Power" is "worth paying for."

On the other hand, according to Design and Trend, "Power" creator Courtney Kemp Agboh doesn't want the two shows to be compared. He said that the entire beef drama is senseless and speaking of it during a panel discussion, she said, "I don't have an opinion".

What do you think about 50 Cent being called homophobic after his ugly remarks about Empire?
