"Attack on Titan Season 2," one of the highly anticipated anime series by Hajime Isayma, is likely to arrive next year as confirmed by Director Testsuro Araki but will be delayed, Franchise Herald reported.
The delay isn't just because the manga version of "Attack on Titan" is two-story arc short but because of the many episodes they were working on. "Attack on Titan Season 1" has already covered 34 chapters with a total of four story arcs that included "The Fall of Shiganshina," "104thTrainees Squad," "Battle of Trost District" and "The Female Titan." Hence, Director Araki need to wait a little longer before season 2 can be completed.
Season 2 storyline will be about the fight between the 104th Trainees Squad and the Titans as well as the story of overthrowing the king because of the corruption on the "The Uprising" episode. The truth about the Reiss family will also be unveiled as a genuine loyal family to the kingdom. But the shocker is that they can transform themselves into Titans, Christian Today reported.
Reports also say that a beast-like or ape-like Titan will appear on the second season. The real identity of the Armoured Titan and the Colossal Titan will also be revealed especially that it has only been around Eren and isn't exactly for humanity.
Fans will be heartbroken to know that Levi will die in this season while trying to save the Shiganshina trio comprised of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin.
A footage of the "Attack on Titan Season 2" was leaked which seems to be filmed inside a theater for preview. The scenes were obviously from chapter 34 of the manga with added subtitles from the uploader. No primary characters were shown in the footage but at the end we can see Eren who appears like he just woke up from a rough night, Geek Snack noted. Take a look at the leaked video below:
