‘Duck Dynasty’ Stars Jase and Missy Robertson On Josh Duggar’s Cheating Scandal: Anna Has The Right to Leave

Jase and Missy Robertson of the other reality TV "Duck Dynasty" said that Anna has the right to leave Josh should she want to go on without him.

Robertsons and Duggars have been compared in the past and so the devout Christians and politically conservative powerhouse were asked to comment on scandals surrounding the Duggars. Josh Duggar has admitted to cheating on his wife and his addiction to pornography, which prompted the cancellation of the reality show "19 Kids and Counting" and recently, divorce rumors between him and wife Anna.

Jase and Missy were asked if Anna should forgive Josh, to which they said, "forgiving and forgetting are two different things" and that "forgiving and staying married are not mutually exclusive options," reported ET Online.

Missy told ET, "As far as the relationship, that's gotta be her decision whether or not she wants to go on without him. She certainly has that right, because he interrupted their marriage with those affairs, but forgiveness is not really a choice, you know, if you want forgiveness from God."

"You can forgive somebody, but that doesn't mean there's not consequences for your actions," Jase added.

Missy further said, "She's definitely a victim in this whole situation and, yes, [Josh] made some wrong decisions. But that's something that, at the end of the day, when the cameras go away, that's their life. They're going to have to deal with it themselves and get past it and try to savor some of the experiences they had and memories, and also make a new life for themselves -- whether it's together or apart."

The Hollywood Gossip recalled that back in August, before Josh admitted to cheating and sex addiction, Jase and Missy's niece Sadie Robertson defended the Duggars, saying "It is what it is and so they're just gonna have to make the best out of it. I think he's making a turnaround. If they can forgive him, it'll all work out."
