‘Frozen 2’ Movie Spoilers and Release Date: Sequel to Tackle Origin of Elsa’s Power, Meaningful Message; Anna Has a Super Power Too?

Disney's "Frozen" has been a big hit to children and adults alike all over the world and so it is good news that the movie's sequel is already in its pre-production stage. While it is still a long wait before fans see the animated film return on the big screen, rumors are making rounds to keep fans anticipating.

So what's in store for the next "Frozen" film? MNG reported that rumors have it that "Frozen 2" will focus on Elsa's history on how she got her power. Eva Bella is reprising her role as the young Elsa so it is kind of a confirmation that viewers will be taken into the past.

Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are both returning to direct the sequel, which will be produced by Peter Del Vecho. In an interview with MTV, Buck reportedly shared that the theme of "Frozen 2" is pretty much done, but producers are still working hard on the whole plot because they want to inject a more meaningful message to its audience, something that would tackle social issues the kids can relate to.

Meanwhile, according to Movie News Guide, it's not only Elsa who has a super power; Anna does have one. Speaking in an interview with HitFix, Buck and Lee revealed that Anna's power is love. While it's not like her sister's, love is very powerful and she uses it to save the day.

Could love be a major part of the sequel's theme? Will Elsa find a love interest as Olaf will (according to rumors)?

As for the other casts, stars who voiced over "Frozen" main characters are returning. Idina Menzel (Queen Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Josh Gad (Olaf), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) are all reprising their roles.

"Frozen 2" is targeted to be released on Nov. 21, 2018.
