William Randolph Hearst's House For Rent, $600,000 a Month or For Sale For $115 Million

The former Beverly Hills estate of William Randolph Hearst is available for rent for any interested tenant for $600,000 a month, reported E!

The estate, named the Beverly House tells a story of its own--Hollywood-worthy to be precise. Aside from having to call the American publishing tycoon, Hearst, the man of the manor, the Beverly House was the iconic home where Jack Wolz woke up to the grisly scene of his horse's head in bed for "The Godfather," reported The New York Daily.

In addition to that famous mob film, scenes from the "The Bodyguard" were also shot there, and the California mansion served as John and Jacqueline Kennedy's honeymoon getaway in 1953, according to E!

The home located at 1011 North Beverly Drive is situated on a hill overlooking the Beverly Hills Hotel. It spans more than a whopping 50,000 square feet and includes 17 bedrooms and 27 bathrooms.

No one can complain leaving the home because it even comes with a night club, a cinema, billiard room, wine cellar and two tennis courts of its own. If you take a step outside the living quarters, you'll find the breathtaking 75-foot-long pool and a massive terrace, which can seat up to 400 guests. Now we can picture why Hearst would want to keep his wild-party side a bit closer to home.

The estate also houses two guest homes and an apartment. The property is the definition of the high-life-surrounding yourself with not just the masterful Venetian columns of Italian décor, but also the Spanish-inspired style that permeates throughout the estate. Hearst lived in his home until his death in 1946 and it's currently valued at $115 million.

According to E! Beverly House was once listed on the market for sale at $165 million, but no offers have come forward for that price tag. It probably is more suitable to keep the rent at $600,000, yet even that is pushing it.

"This one is one of the great locations. It does have an incredible storied history," Billy Rose, co-founder and president of The Agency, a luxury real estate specialist, told The Daily.
