'Nexus 6P 2015' Release Date, Price, Specs: New Phablet Will Have a High-End Design, Costs Around $600

Here's a "Nexus 6P" update. Google's 2015 phablet is rumored to be coming in time for the September 29 launch event. It is said that Huawei is this year's Nexus' official buddy, which means that Motorola won't create a streak in housing Nexus gadgets. Another detail about September 29 is that it shall also be the day that Android Marshmallow will be launched.

As Marshmallow gets launched by the 29th, it is almost certain that the "Nexus 6P" will come with it, as well as the "Nexus 5X 2015". This shall be a big day for the tech giant. But as almost confirmed as it is that we will be seeing the new phablet in a few days time, the delivery date for the "Nexus 6P" probably won't start until October.

As to the cost of this new device from Google, reports suggest that it would probably be priced the same or even less than last year's release.

The gadget will have a 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6 to 8.5mm curved dimensions and it will have a rear fingerprint sensor. The speakers will be in front and a USB Type C connection will be used. Leaks also suggest an interesting physical change to the gadget. The phablet will have a protruding area that will house the camera.

Reports suggest the use of Snapdragon 820 processor and Snapdragon 810 in the new device. A 4 GB RAM is a very likely resort as well. As to the memory, it wasn't confirmed if they'll be offering anything more than the usual 32 and 64 GB. But a 128 GB is practically a necessity to avoid limiting the experience of users.

It is said that the rear camera will be a good 21MP and it will use the Sony IMX230 sensor. As to the battery, it may come as a bit of an improvement from the last model. "Nexus 6P" will carry a 3500mAh battery according to reports online.
