'Daredevil' Season 2 Cast & Premiere: Stick Confirmed To Return; What Is His Hidden Agenda?

It has been confirmed that one of the characters in Season 1 will return in "Daredevil" Season 2.

Master Herald reports that it has been confirmed that the character Stick, which is played by veteran actor Scott Glenn, will be returning to the show despite the short cameo he had in Season 1.

According to the site, on the official Twitter page of the show, the return of the character was confirmed after a picture of Stick and young Matt was posted sitting side by side. The caption of the photo reads, "The old man is back. Stick is returning to Hell's Kitchen for season 2. #Daredevil."

Although he only appeared briefly in Season 1, Stick reportedly made a huge impact on Matt (Charlie Cox). It was revealed that Stick was the one who taught Matt his superb martial arts skills and he also helped Matt hone his other senses. According to Christian Post, Matt considered Stick as more than just a mentor but also as a father figure to him.

Meanwhile, it seems like Stick has a hidden agenda, which is why he will return. Some of the scenes revealed for Season 2 show Stick appearing in front of Stone. Stone was presumed to be part of The Chaste. Meanwhile, it was also reported that Stick will be giving Matt some lectures about going soft as Stick always prefer to deal things with his fatal ways.

It was also reported that Season 2 of "Daredevil" is now in the works, and it was already confirmed that some of the Season 1 cast members will be returning, which include Elden Hensen as Foggy and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen.

As of writing there is still no official release date for Season 2 of "Daredevil," but it is expected to be available on Netflix by 2016.
