'Blue Bloods' Season 6 Spoilers & Premiere: Danny Receives A Scary Message; Frank Will Be Accused of Corruption

The characters of "Blue Bloods" will face bigger challenges as the show premieres for Season 6.

According to Christian Post, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) will be receiving a scary message, which is possibly from a serial killer. The reports said that the serial killer is not only trying to target Danny but also his family.

It will be a tough season for Danny as it was reported that while he finds out who the threat to his life is, he will try to protect his family at the same time. However, this story was reported for episodes for October.According to Cartermatt, the premiere episode of the season is titled "Worst Case Scenario." The synopsis of the episode reveals that Chief of Police Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) has to deal with a possible terrorist threat in New York City.

Bridget Moynahan was revealed to be back on the set to play Eric Reagan. In an interview, she shared that she considers her co-stars her family and that she is happy to be back working on the show. It was reported that her character will be a judge.

Meanwhile, Frank Reagan will be accused of corruption as he will be used as a tool of corrupt politicians. This issue will reportedly affect his family since all of the members work on the side of the law.

It was also earlier reported that a new character will be entering the show. It was announced that Esai Morales will be playing the role of an NYPD sergeant named Delgado. The guest character was described as someone who is not what he seems to be. In addition, his character is very particular in improving the accuracy in the police statistics, and this could lead to different unforeseen results as he tries different ways just to earn a promotion.

"Blue Bloods" will return September 25 for Season 6.
