'Grimm' Season 5 Cast, Spoilers & Release Date: Nick Goes Restless Following the Death of His Love Juliette

Sorry, Grimmsters, but the bad news is that Juliette is definitely dead and she will only be appearing in flashbacks in the upcoming "Grimm" season. The good news, however, is that the much-awaited Season 5 will premiere on NBC this Oct. 30 and it is said to be a very exciting season for all the characters.

It can be recalled at the end of Season 4 that Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch), the love interest of Nick (David Giuntoli) since season one, was shot dead by a "Grimm junior" Trubel (Jacqueline Tobini) after being involved with the death of Nick's mother and for also attempting to kill Nick.

So Season 5 will pick up where it left off but there are rumors that Nick is going to quit being a cop and will become a full pledged Grimm, embarking on a mission to avenge the untimely death of the two most important women in his life. There is also another rumor that Nick will develop feelings for Adalind (Claire Coffee) while they co-parent their half-Grimm, half-Hexenbiest, or possibly half-Zauberbiest child.

Talking about the Nick Burkhardt in the upcoming reason, David Giuntoli himself said recently at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con, "I'd say they're localizing it more to what it was. It seems to be Portland, it seems to be Wesen. It seems to be Nick plotting revenge. I would definitely say I don't really care about being a cop anymore. I'm just like I'm doing my own Grimm thing."

The upcoming season will also tackle new issues such as Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) will be having marital problems and the fans will see more of FBI agent Chavez (Elizabeth Rodriguez) because of a mysterious arrangement with Trubel. Fans can also expect two new additions to the cast of the series "Grimm."
