2016 Ford Mustang: Four Engines, One Soul; New Mustang all about Looks, Safety and Power

Ford Motors Company has revved up their gears in introducing the 2016 Ford Mustang. One of the most leading car manufacturers in the world, Ford has added new features with touches of classic designs to their newest 2016 Ford Mustang.

The secondary turn signals integrated into the hood vents are designs from the very first 1967 Ford Mustang, making somewhat of a comeback, in the 2016 Mustang GT.

The shark-bite nose, tri-bar tail lamps, trapezoidal grille, and recessed side flanks are the unmistakable features that make a Ford Mustang stand out on the roads.

The interior is comfortable and accommodating. Bucket seats, a leather-trimmed steering wheel with secondary audio and speed controls, and a tilt/telescoping steering column, plus an auto-dimming rearview mirror, are all standard.

Ford Mustang has always been dedicated to give drivers all the power they want. Each engine of the four 2016 Ford Mustangs can kick up to 300 horsepower.

  • The 3.7L V6 offers up 300 hp and 280 lb.-ft. of torque; standard on the V6 Fastback model.
  • The 2.3L EcoBoost® engines churn out 310 hp and 320 lb.-ft. of torque; standard on EcoBoost® and EcoBoost Premium models.
  • The 5.0L V8 kicks out 435 hp and 400 lb.-ft. of torque; standard on GT and GT Premium models.
  • The 5.2L V8 delivers 526 hp and 429 lb.-ft. of torque; standard on the Shelby GT350®.

The 2016 Ford Mustang also inherited the safety features of its predecessor, the 2015 Ford Mustang. These safety features have gained a five-star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's New Car Assessment Program Crash Test.
