Nexus 6 Now at $349 on Amazon Ahead of New Google Phones Release

Google is clearing its shelves of the current Nexus 6, making sure there would be room for the highly anticipated latest Nexus devices once released on Sept. 29.

According to zdnet, Google is now selling the 32GB Nexus 6 for $499.99, while Amazon is listing the Motorola Nexus 6 for $349.99, an even better deal. For the said prices, you could now be getting a 6-inch display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, a speedy Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization.

It may even sound like a much better deal for those who are always on the road because the current Nexus 6 is at this time the only phone that works on the tri-band Google Project Fi network. On the other hand, the present Nexus 6 may have its flaws plus the fact that some find it weighty, still it offers a good Android experience, a decent camera and fast charging.

In the meantime, according to the Irish Examiner, the latest leak is suggesting that one of the new Nexus phones will be called Nexus 5X. In addition, Android Authority has reported that the potential price of the 16GB base model will be around $400 while the 32GB model will be somewhere around $450. The upcoming Nexus is reported to have a smaller, 5.2-inch full HD 1080p P-OLED display, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 (MSM8976) processor, up to 4GB of LPDDR3-1866 RAM, up to 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, a 3180mAh non-removable battery, a MediaTek MT3188 wireless charging.

If leaks about the specs and the price of upcoming Nexus phones are true then it may be worth the wait.  The latest Nexus sounds like a smaller but more powerful phone that promises better performance than the current Nexus Flagship. But if you are not interested with the upcoming model, the $349 deal on Moto Nexus 6 sounds like a good catch.
