Michele Lee Sells Los Angeles Residence for $7.4 million

The 70-year-old "Knots Landing" star, Michele Lee,  has finally parted ways with her long-time Los Angeles mansion. The Holmby Hills estate sold for $7.4 million. The actress spent 20 years in the home and first listed the home for sale in August 2012.

The home is spread over 9,593 square feet of ground area and was built in 1929. The red tile roofed home comprises of 5 bedrooms along with 7 bathrooms. The double story place is surrounded by two gates with a motor court paved with Spanish tiles. The entrance leads to a beautiful foyer that features a cozy fireplace and archways that lead to the other sections of the house. The flooring is completely done with hardwood with high beamed ceilings and French doors. The home also sports a wet bar and two state-of-the-art kitchens, reports Real Estalker.

The home also boasts of an inbuilt library and office on the second floor that can be reached by a spiral staircase. The place also has a wine tasting room. A gym and a boutique style dressing room featuring massive closets also line the second floor. The master suite has a sitting room and a balcony which add to the comfort. A multi level broadcasting room is one of the main attractions of the place, reports Real Estalker.

A pool surrounded by tropical greenery completes the finesse a celebrity home possesses. There are detached staff quarters also, reports NY Daily News.

Lee and husband Fred A Rappoport had owned the home for a long time and parting with it will be surely difficult. Lee had a bright Hollywood and Broadway career. She is the only star among the whole cast of "Knots Landing" to have appeared in all the episodes of the show. However, after the show ended, Lee has not taken up any major projects. In 2010 she had Lent her voice for the animated series "Family Guy".
