"Allegiant" co-stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James will have more intense scenes in the upcoming installment.
According to Christian Post, "Allegiant" is aimed at more mature audiences, which means that more intimate scenes between Tris and Four could be expected. Meanwhile, a new character will also be introduced in the upcoming third installment of the "Divergent" series.
According to Fashion & Style, the character David and his Bureau of Genetic Warfare will play an important role in "Allegiant - Part 1" and "Allegiant - Part 2."
As of late, Lionsgate has not yet confirmed or denied whether or not scenes with David will be part of the movie. However, it has already been confirmed that the Bureau of Genetic Warfare will be introduced in "Allegiant."
In other news, the same publication noted several other scenes from Veronica Roth's book that should also be included in the movie.
One of the scenes mentioned is the one featuring Woodley's Tris reading her mom's journal. According to fans who have read the books, this moment in the story is very crucial and emotional. This is where all of Tris' emotions will come into play and will encourage her to continue to fight for her people.
Meanwhile, "Allegiant" will see the demise of Tris. Roth previously confirmed that Tris will also die in the film because it's an important part of her characterization.
During a recent interview, Roth revealed that Woodley was also on board with the idea because the actress understood what's best for Tris' storyline.
"Well, it's actually been set up that way. At the end of the first book, she almost experiences death. She's in the water tank. She gets saved at the last second by her mother. At the end of the book, she kind of plays with the idea of self-sacrifice by letting Tobias almost kill her," Roth told MTV News.
"Allegiant - Part 1" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 18, 2016.
