Thanks to the mega success of Disney Animation Studio's "Frozen," a sequel is finally on its way! Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have revealed early plans for the second installment and how the main plot is coming together.
Master Herald shares that "Frozen 2" will tackle social issues. The creators reportedly want to talk about things that are relevant to both men and women, as they see the movie as a great medium when it comes to educating viewers, especially children, on important issues.
Meanwhile, various speculations on the plot of the upcoming installment abound, one of which is that Olaf will have a girlfriend in the upcoming film. There are rumors that the lovely snowman might have a ladylove in the sequel. Although not much has been said about the alleged girlfriend, fans are excited for such news since Olaf is such a well-loved character.
It's also no surprise that the main focus of the story would surround on Anna and Elsa's relationship now that they're reunited as sisters. It would be interesting to see what type of character development they'll do this time, since the dynamic has completely changed. Based on the ending of the first one, Elsa might need a little bit more warming up to do to get into the groove of things in Arendelle.
A death of a character is also said to be featured in "Frozen 2," but not many details have been reported about this as of late.

"Frozen" was released in 2013 and was able to rake in $1.219 revenue. It is the fifth-highest grossing movie of all time. Movie News Guide speculates that the sequel might come out in 2018.
