'Zac Efron's new movie, "We are Your Friends" Flops on its Weekend Debut

Zac Efron's "We are Your Friends" experienced a tough blow when it became known as one of the biggest flops in the U.S. film history.

According to torontosun.com, Zac's DJ movie was named "one of the worst wide-release openings in U.S. box office history." "We are Your Friends" earned only $1.8 million from 2,333 cinemas across America making it the fourth- worst film debut since 1982.

The music- inspired romantic drama follows the story of an aspiring DJ trying to make a break in the music industry and become a big- time and a successful music producer. Thing got out of hand when he [Zac] decided to hook up with his mentor's girlfriend. He also has to stand up with his own feet if he really wanted to succeed in his dream. The film's cast also include 'Gone Girl' star and 'Blurred Lines' video model Emily Ratajkowski.
