It seems that Netflix is really bent on making its users feel nostalgic and young again. After it has added Reading Rainbow to its August line up, the popular streaming service will be offering this September Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Moreover, with the inclusion of Hamlet, Moonrise Kingdom, and Rambo: First Blood, Sleepy Hollow, and more, this month on Netflix is mostly about TV.
Here are some more of what to expect at Netflix this September:
- Person of Interest: Seasons 1 -3
One of the most exciting and thought - provoking shows on TV. It is a chilling tale of a government surveillance system which can predict both small scale and grand murders. With these first three seasons and Season 4 coming on September 22nd, there will surely be a lot of time to satiate yourself with the earlier series before its 5th premieres on 2016.
- The Monster Squad
The 1987 flick , from Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man 3) and Fred Dekker (Night of the Creeps), is about a group of horror-loving kids who come face to face with the most famous movie villains, led by Count Dracula. It is one of the 80s films which was being rebooted but the plans did not push through, so original here comes the original.
- Masters of the Universe
Another sci-fi/horror coming from the 80s, this film is based on the renowned He-Man Mattel toy line. It is going through a reboot development at Sony and Netflix is giving you the chance to see the original this September.
- Longmire: Season 4
A solid mystery show starring Katee Sackhoff, Robert Taylor and Lou Diamond Phillips . Having this on Netflix is a great thing since Season 3 ended with a cliff-hanger.
- The Walking Dead's Best Episodes
While Walking Dead's fifth season may have become jerky in terms of the story towards the middle, but the Terminus arc and the group's arrival at Alexandria definitely gave some of the highlights. Season 5 in Netflix will just be perfect for your re- watch before Season 6's premiere on October 11th.
