Thunder Point Guard Russell Westbrook Marries His College Sweetheart, Wedding Ceremony Is Star-Studded

The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook married his longtime college sweetheart, Nina Earl in a star-studded wedding ceremony on Saturday.

Russell and Nina has officially wed as exclusively confirmed by the NBA player's rep to People. The lovely couple met at UCLA while playing for the men and women's basketball teams, respectively. They tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony at the popular Beverly Hills Resort. According to E! Online, a reliable source told them, "They both couldn't be happier and can't wait to spend the rest of their lives together."

The couple had their "I do" in front of their families and friends. Amongst those who were present were several of Westbrook's current and former teammates including Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Serge Ibaka, Dorrell Wright and James Harden. Harden brought along Khloe Kardashian as his date.

The basketball player's bride wore two dresses during the wedding, courtesy of Vera Wang and Monique Lhullier. Westbrook, on one hand, opted to wear a tuxedo designed by celebrity favorite Tom Ford. The couple had their first dance to "Nothing Even Matters" by Lauren Hill and D'Angelo. Beyonce performed for the pair as they walked out of the ceremony. The newlyweds also received a surprise performance from R&B royalty Keri Hilson and Grammy winner Miguel at around 11 p.m.

Mindy Weiss was the planner behind the wedding. Joanie and Leigh's Cakes crafted the wedding cakes, while Mark's Garden took charge of flower arrangements. Fry Girl provided some late night snacks for the attendees who "went crazy over them." There was a mini donut station and the guests were able to choose their flavor-infused sugar toppings for the donuts. The Beverly Hills Hotel, meanwhile, served Kobe beef sliders, fried chicken and waffles as well as tater tots.

On Sunday, Westbrook posted on Instagram a picture of himself and his wife from the wedding. No photos from the guests because they were asked to enjoy the event without cameras and phones, according to People.
