‘Minecraft’ Games: New Story Mode Coming To Wii U

Telltale Games' "Minecraft: Story Mode" will be coming to Nintendo Wii U. Telltale Game's  head of creative communications Job Stauffer announced this new development this week via Twitter.

It was noted that the "Minecraft: Story Mode" is actually Mojang's first video game to be available in the Nintendo platform. This development can be considered a milestone considering that Mojang is a subsidiary company of Microsoft. However, this led to fans' speculation on whether "Minecraft" game will also be coming to Wii U, iDigitalTimes reported on Thursday.

Gamespot reports that "Minecraft's" upcoming story mode will be available in multiple platforms such as the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Mac, Android, and iOS. It can be recalled that in last month's Minecon event, both Mojang and Telltale Games have released a gameplay trailer which revealed more information about the upcoming story mode. The company has also confirmed earlier the video game's voice cast which includes Patton Oswalt, Corey Feldman, Billy West and Paul Reubens.

"Players will control protagonist Jesse throughout the season, as portrayed by actor Patton Oswalt. Jesse and his group of friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone; four adventurers who slayed an Ender Dragon. The Order is the very best at what they do: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect. While at EnderCon, Jesse and his friends discover that something is wrong... something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and they must set out on a journey to find The Order of the Stone if they are to save their world from oblivion," Telltale previously explained.

Meanwhile, players will have the opportunity to play the hands-on beta of "Minecraft:Story Mode" as Telltale will be heading off to PAX Prime in Seattle. The developer claims that this will be the first time that an outsider will be involved by being part of the season's premiere. An initial trailer of the said story mode will also be shown in PAX Prime, Telltale announced via its blog.
