Ronda Rousey Floyd Mayweather Jr. Feud: 'She Will Never be at My Status!' Claims the Boxing Champ

When will Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s verbal bout end? The boxing champ recently fired back yet again to the Rowdy's fiery words, and now he's using the Forbes card.

Mayweather told TMZ Sports, "Big bank take little bank. Let's play and see how much money you got. Last time I checked I was #1 on Forbes. She will never be at my status. Keep trying to get publicity." This was in response to Rousey's statements claiming the boxer is "illiterate" and that she made more money per second compared to him. Rousey further said that she's more efficient than he is in the ring.

ESPN has made an analysis of Rousey's claim. They write, "Mayweather made about $102,000 per second for his May 3 fight against Manny Pacquiao, the biggest bout in boxing history. He fought 2,160 seconds and made at least $220 million. If Rousey earned $102,000 per second for her 34-second fight against Bethe Correia, she would have had to have made $3.47 million. Earning two to three times more per second than Mayweather would mean she would have made between $6.9 million and $10.4 million for her Aug. 3 title fight."

The fighters' odd feud began when Mayweather Jr. claimed that he didn't know who the female fighter was after she made a comment about how he would feel if a girl knocked him out for once.

NPR quoted Rousey as saying that it's not really her ambition to constantly throw words at Mayweather Jr. She said, "I don't think it's my duty or anything like that, I don't think I have to do anything, but I'm in a position where I can say something. If I feel like somebody insults me, I don't have to sit there and bow my head and be a good little girl and just take it. I can say something back. And it's actually encouraging that he's in the kind of situation where he feels like he has to respond to me."

Rousey has yet to respond again to Mayweather Jr.'s recent statements.
