Former Scientology Member Claims She Was 'Forced' To Have An Abortion

The Church of Scientology [a new religious movement that related their beliefs and practices created by a science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard] has been making the headlines as news emerged that they "forced" one for their members to have an abortion.

As per Life News, Samantha Domingo, a member of the SEA Organization, which was established in 1967 are a team of leaders focused on advanced research operations made created a buzz after sharing her experiences when she was once involved with the religious group. She publicly exposed that her church forced her to have an abortion stating that SEA Org members are prohibited to have a young children and are required to leave.

In a Channel 5 documentary entiltled "Inside Scientology, Escaping the Witness" Samantha Domingo stated:

"It felt like I'd committed the ultimate sin. The next thing that came was 'what is the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics?' That was the right thing to do have an abortion that was made absolutely clear to me." She then added, "I bought into it. I had an abortion to prove I wasn't this evil person, this Satan that everybody was saying I was. I murdered a child, that's the way I look at it, and it will forever live with me that I murdered a child. I will never forgive myself for that; I will never be able to rewrite it,"

The Church of Scientology however was not able to accept any complaints in regards to Samantha Domingo's claim. Then then stated that "Sea Org members can and do leave the organization but stay within the church. Sam Domingo left the Sea Org in 1995, and stayed a member of the church for a further 15 years." Then adding: "Her complaints bear no relation to the church today"

The church also find it abusive to use the word "cult" to describe any of their beliefs, however the critics in the documentary stated that the lines in distinguishing between the religion and cult often start to become blurry.
