'Marvel’s Most Wanted' TV Series: ABC Orders Pilot Episode For Mockingbird And Lance Hunter

"Marvel's Most Wanted" will be the newest series on ABC and it will focus on two of the popular "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." characters. According to Variety, the network is now closing a deal for the pilot episode of the show. The show will focus on the characters Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood.

Palicki plays the role of Bobbi Morse, also known as Mockingbird, and she will be accompanied by Blood's character, Lance Hunter. Reports reveal that the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." producers have co-created the upcoming project of ABC Studios and Marvel, and they are also co-writing the pilot episode.

According to IGN, it was announced in April that the network was working on a spin-off series which will feature Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter. However, it was reported the following month that the project might not be moving ahead. It was only this week that it was confirmed by the network that the project was given a go.

Variety claims that an insider revealed that the show is not actually a spin-off but rather an entirely new project which will focus on the two main characters who will continue their story. As of writing, plot details and other cast members are still not officially released. ABC has also not yet revealed any information regarding its premiere date or whether it will be introduced in an episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

With "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." coming back for Season 3 and "Agent Carter" returning for Season 2, it was reported that ABC is still looking for more Marvel stories in their network. Rumors are circulating that the network is also working on a top secret Marvel project which will be headed by "American Crime" creator John Ridley.
