Dwayne Johnson and his wife have never stopped being a team even after divorce. The wrestler-turned-actor-turned-businessman has his wife as a partner in 7 Bucks Production. The company got its name from the amount of cash Dwayne had inside his pocket before he ventured into his wrestling career. Dwayne Johnson's wife Dany Garcia runs the Florida based company with him.
Dwayne and Dany went through divorce in 2007 after 10 years of marriage. They have a 13-year-old daughter that they intend to raise as a pair despite separation. They told People magazine, "We will continue to advance and manage our business interests, our philanthropic efforts and most importantly the raising of our child together, as a loving team."
"We've been fortunate enough to spend the last 17 years together as a couple and look forward to spending the rest our lives together as best friends and business partners."
Keeping their word about staying together, business has been booming for the ex-couple. They have several TV series coming up and they are also the executive producers of an HBO show called "Ballers". Dwayne will play an athlete who will work to be an agent. Dwayne will also be busy with a lot of things like the "Fast & Furious", "Shazam", and "Baywatch".
Dwayne Johnson shares, "Life is amazing. Life is f--king messy. Life is what you make of it". He says that he is happy that they are all working together nicely, although it did take a lot of work. He says that Dany also had to go through the "sludge" of divorce and then getting the optimism to say that, "We're still friends, we respect each other, let's do business. And let's do big business".
The former couple may be one of the coolest ex-lovers anyone can ever meet. The absence of animosity and the presence of support can definitely make us believe in the power of friendship even more. Dwayne has been living with his girlfriend Lauren Hashian, and Dany married Dave Rienzi who is the strength coach of Dwayne right now. The amount of time Dwayne and Dave spend with each other is probably enough to make us all believe that Dwayne and Dany are nothing but at peace as far as their relationship is concerned.
