'House of Cards' Season 4 Release Date & Spoilers: Frank & Claire Will Pretend To Be Together; Will They Adopt A Child To Prove It? Show To Feature More 'Wickedness'

It was earlier reported that Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire (Robin Wright) Underwood might be going their separate ways in Season 4 of "House of Cards." However, recent reports reveal that the Underwoods might just be sticking together. According to Christian Post, the power couple might still continue to pretend to be together despite their marital problems.

In earlier reports it was said that Claire might be running against her former husband for the highest position in the country. However, recent rumors claim that Frank and Claire will be pretending to be still together and might even adopt a child to prove to the public that they have a happy marriage. This is despite the fact that Claire walked out of Frank in the Season 3 finale.

It was earlier reported that Michael Kelly's character Doug Stamper will be coming back to the show after Frank lost his trust on his chief of staff in Season 3. Now that Stamper will be by Frank's side again, show's creator Michael Dobbs revealed that Season 4 will feature more "wickedness." Dobbs added that Frank may be getting his "comeuppance" in Season 4 and there will be unexpected twists in the plot just like in politics.

Now that it may seem that the Underwoods will be sticking together, Venture Capital Post reported that Neve Campbell will be appearing in "House of Cards" Season 4. According to the report, the 41-year-old actress will be paired with another newcomer and it is said that this new couple will be the power couple's rival. It was speculated that Campbell and her partner will be the new threat to the Underwoods' power and it may also result in the end of the influence of Frank and Claire.

As of writing there is still no confirmation as to when "House of Cards" Season 4 will be available in Netflix.
