'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 Spoilers: Take A Glimpse Of The Show's Opening Scene; Pictures Of Merida, Black Swan & Camelot Teases Fans

At the Disney's D23 in California, "Once Upon A Time" fans were treated with the reveal of the first minute of the first episode of Season 5. According to Huffington Post, the panel event was titled "Evening with Snow White & the Evil Queen."

The event was attended by the show's stars. The "Evening with Snow White & the Evil Queen" panel featured Lana Parrilla (Regina/Evil Queen) and Ginnifer Goodwin (Mary Margaret/Snow White) along with the show creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis. Meanwhile, Josh Dallas (David/Charming) also made a surprise appearance during the said event.

During the event, the clip of the first minute of Season 5 episode 1 was revealed. It was reported that the show picks up where it left off in Season 4, and the video features Emma (Jennifer Morrison) getting sucked up into a vortex of evil after she took on the powers of the Dark One. Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) then tries but fails to summon Emma using her dagger. It was earlier reported that Emma will be receiving the help of Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) in controlling her powers as the Dark One.

Zap2it reported that another highlight of the event was when the show revealed Amy Manson as "Brave's" Merida. In the event, co-creator Horowitz said that Merida will be interacting with many of the characters in the show. Goodwin described Merida as a strong woman and said that she really belongs to the show.

The panel also gave fans a first look on Camelot, and co-creators revealed that a lot of the characters will be heading to Camelot in the upcoming season of the show. Kitsis said that fans will be seeing some of the core characters on the voyage, including those who don't usually get to go on adventures. Horowitz said that Camelot is adjacent to Enchanted Forest and exists concurrently with our world.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 5 will return on ABC on September 27.
