Nintendo Reveals ‘Super Smash Bros.’: Amiibo Figures’ Release Schedules Announced, Retro Pack Live, Falco Amiibo in September

“Super Smash Bros.” will be rolling out the new Amiibo characters next month, according to Nintendo. The company is set to increase the number of its Amiibo line in the next few months, in addition to its characters such as the ones that are meant to pay tribute to their retro gamer fans.

The first in the “Super Smash Bros.” series of Amiibo launching will happen on October 23rd, the Eurogamer reported. It will be from the “Super Smash Bros.” DLC character Mewtwo. Unfortunately, only the release date for the UK has been announced, while its North American release is yet to be known. The report also mentioned that some DLC-based Amiibo figurines like that of Ryu and Lucas are going to be available in the market again.

Different “Super Smash Bros.” schedules were set for a number of Amiibo figures, Nintendo reveals.

On Sept. 11, the following “Super Smash Bros.” characters will be joining the roll of North American Amiibo group: Bowser Jr. with Koopa Clown Car, Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, Olimar and Zero Suit Samus (an exceptional Mario figure created for the 30th anniversary of “Super Mario Bros.”), and the 8-bit Mario in limited edition along with the launch of “Super Mario Maker.”

On Sept. 25, Nintendo will launch a Retro Pack which will include Duck Hunt, R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch. All three are well-matched with “Super Smash Bros.” and will only be sold as a bundle. This 3-pack bundle is said to have opened for pre-orders since Aug. 8, as per reports from an Amiibo event on GameSpot. Rumors say that orders are only limited to one per customer.

Meanwhile, Nintendo still hasn’t announced any update regarding the release of Falco Amiibo. The only information from the company available right now is that Falco will come out along with Duck Hunt, R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch, which will happen in September. Moreover, Falco is currently listed under “Holiday 2015” release on Nintendo’s official website.
